I've been tonight and got 12 bottles for £8.93
Most of the dearer ones had gone but there were plenty at Batley store. Did look for some of the things mentioned on 1p thread but none came up at that price

Hey all,
I had an amazing shopping trip tonight, went wine shopping needless to say and didnt know how many bottles to get or even what i was looking for.....just decided to wing it on the rough calculation that 8 bottles were approx £5.
I had a £20 DTD voucher so i thought id get approx 8 x4 of the £2.49 bottles. However none of teh red ones were there so i got some of the £2.29 bottles various kinds. All were in stock apart form the red Jacobs creek one.
i went and got milk and bread and yoghurt but yes my basket was mostly filled with wine. Got to the checkout and the chap that served me was fairly chatty and was asking if i was having a party. Said i think this lot will cost you a small fortune.....i said well its on offer so thought would take advantage of it.....
Oh yea so it is he said when he scanned it.
I split my 32 wine bottles up and did them separately from my milk etc. Total was £22.xx wow bargain i said...and i suggested that it was too a good deal so would he mind looking after my shopping til i got more. He said yea no problem. Such a sweetie.
I went and got another 28 bottles and the total including my normal essentials came to £25.xx and i had a sainsbury £4 off a £20 spend so i asked if that would work and it did so i only had a grand total of £1.xx to pay for the second shop.
Oh i used two £20 DTD vouchers so i only spent about £3 in actual cash for 60 bottles of wine.
Thanks so much for the heads up original poster.
All my flatmates and half of tesco now think i have a secret (now not so secret) alcohol problem.
Great idea for favours...shame im nowhere near getting married so il just have to drink a good few :beer:0 -

Just ordered 12 bottle of blossom hill for delivery in the morning. Bit confused with some saying it will work and some saying it doesnt work online. But can hand the lot back if it doesnt work I suppose.
Also said I could only order maximum of 12 bottles. Surprised some on here have ordered more0 -

thats what it tastes like all the time :rotfl:
Horrible winery - first discovered it 20 years ago on a booze cruise - sampled it then, vowed never to return to it - gobsmacked that it not only crossed the channel but seems to be selling ok.
Power of marketing over quality I guess - the bent bottles is its USP0 -
