Tesco have 25% off wine when you buy 6 or more bottles (including the little ones) and also have 4 for £5 on the 18.7cl bottles but they take off the 25% for 6 or more bottles before the 4 for £5 discount, so you can get 8 small bottles for around £5.30, it's actually cheaper to get more expensive ones as they take more off. You need to buy 8, 12, 16 etc...

This worked instore this morning, I haven't tried it online as the wine discount doesn't show, I know just before Christmas the same deal worked the same way online.

not online

and it doesn't work for the Tesco Finest varieties as they are not in the £5 for 4 offer

This would be great for someone planning a wedding. We used mini bottles of fizzy for the toast, 1 per guest, they were £1.60 each on a French booze cruise, so this is a fantastic price.

Yes I've been all over it like a rash the last few days it's a great find - I read somewhere if you buy 6 bottles and 2 dine for £10 meals ( which make up 8 bottles) you end up getting the dine for 2 for £7.50 as well as the mini bottles discount !! I will check this out at 06.00 am when I finish work :)
Get Appletv2 & XBMC in and thank me later

I popped out at 11.30p.m to try it out. I got 4 Jacobs Creek Shiraz Cabernet for £2.49 each and 4 Blossom Hill Chardonnay for £2.29 each. I ended up paying £5.12 for all 8 but as I had a DTD voucher I only actually paid 64p. Now I know it works I will pop back in the morning for more. The odd thing is I dont actually drink wine myself but the red will be great for my old Dad and my sis when she comes home. Also my DD is having her girlfriends round so the Chardonnay will be great for that. Thanks to original poster

Was at it yesterday and Thursday evening - excellent find.

As previously stated, the most expensive is the one to go for (Jacobs Creek at £2.49) as the 25% come off the headline price, i.e. 25% off £49.80 if you get 20 bottles - and is applied AFTER the 4 for £5 deal. Hence you get 20 bottles for:

    20 x 2.49 = 49.80

    25% discount = £12.45

    First deal - 20 bottles (4 for £5) = 25.00

25% discount applied to initial gross cost = £12.45

    Net cost = 25.00 - 12.45 = £12.55

So this £12.55 is for 20 small bottles, equivalent to 5 regular bottles, or £2.51 per regular bottle (63p per small bottle).

Bargain, and nice flexibility in that you don't have to finish a large bottle each time you want a glass.

Also useful for when wifey wants some flippin' girly bottle of Rose, although discount not quite as good as it costs £2.29 per bottle.
