Kia Sedona DVD player not working

Wondering if anybody can help? Bought an 06 Kia Sedona yesterday and it has a DVD player fitted on the ceiling, we have gone to use it tonight and it wont read the DVDs, I have followed the instructions and wondered if you had any ideas?
When i insert a DVD it takes it in for a few seconds and then spits it out all the time the screen says no disc.

I have exactly the same fault on my Kia Sedona. The disk ejects after a few seconds.
