If life expectancy remained the same and there was no immigration or emigration and each couple had 2 children the population would stay the same.
But it isnt staying the same its increasing, there are various reasons why its increasing but the end result is the same. The population is increasing.0 -

True and whether that is good or bad is a matter of opinion I’m undecided at the moment. But the causes are immigration and life expectancy not birth rate. Don’t get me wrong I don’t think people should be able to have as many children as they want and expect the state to pick up the bill at least we can agree on that..0 -
