BT Will Not Admit They Broke My Tv

A week last Thursday 5th May our home phone went off, so after a couple of hours I contacted BT who said there was a fault at the exchange and it would be fixed within two hours which would be by 4pm, which it wasn`t. I phoned them again on Friday 6th May and was told it will not be back on until Thursday 12th May 5pm which was yesterday, seven days after it went down. Anyway at 2pm yesterday I decided to call them again to see if it was definitely going to be fixed by 5pm and got through to a foreigner who said he couldn`t guarantee it so I then said I hope you going to take 7 days of line rental off the next bill and refund me, which is when he said he didn`t understand what I meant and he also had the cheek to say that there are people down the road who were worse off than me as they didn`t have a mobile phone. I felt like smacking him then as how does he know who has or hasn`t got a mobile phone and the people down the road don`t have to phone Ireland every night like I do on a bloody mobile phone costing me an absolute fortune, anyway five minutes later a BT engineer is at the door and he goes up the pole and within two minutes of him working on their I lost internet connection on my computer and the Tv went off which was fine before he turned up. Two hours later he finally says the phone should be okay now which it was but I told him that the Tv wasn`t working which he didn`t seem bothered about as it was 16:45 so all he wanted to do was get home.
It says on the Tv
No satellite signal is being received. Please unplug your box from the mains, then plugit back in and wait 5 minutes before trying again.
I have done this about 15 times yesterday and today and still the same so I contacted BT again today and told them that I have had no Tv ever since they called yesterday. First person I spoke to was a foreigner who was hard to understand and all he said was it was not Bt`s fault our Tv wasn`t working, that was when I put the phone down as I was getting nowhere with that clown. I waited 10 minutes and called again and spoke to a woman who again was a foreigner and hard to understand and she was thicker than the first person and even had the cheek to ask me if I would recommend BT to anyone, that`s when I put the phone down again. Recommend Bt I have had no house phone for a week, now got no Tv and they want me to recommend them. No chance. Anyway I phoned again a couple of hours ago and spoke to a british person who said he would look into it but still no picture and not heard anything and he als o had the cheek to ask if I would recommend BT.
Can anyone please help me as I don`t know what to do next.

Thanks in advance for any replies

Why don't you speak to SKY? They provide the TV service.

Sounds like the BT engineer might have knocked the satellite out of position or dislodged the LNB connection?

Wouldn't suprise me in the least.BT engineer went & dropped his ladders thru my car windscreen when it was parked outside my Aunts house,he tried to drive off but my aunt collared him before he could! The BT tried to wriggle out of it until I mentioned solicitors & local papers...

Dish must have been close to pole.
