Which small car, best deals?
Options
Hi
We've had a company car for years. Hubby has left his job and now we need a small run around car for him to get to work, occasionally take the kids out but mostly will be 20miles a day in town traffic.
Were thinking of paying cash say 4-5K but could do without that outlay really so thinking of maybe a 0% finance on new car?
So any recommendations or anyone seen any deals? All we do know is don't want a renault.
Thanks.

Consider a skoda fabia or seat ibiza you should be able to pick up second hand greenline/ecomotive models for your price range and on finance.0

Diesel Golf? I'd go for a mark 4, a decent one sells for around 2.5k but I'm sure you can pick up a decent mark 5 for 5k or less. They vary from 68BHP to 150BHP. All average around 38-40MPG in the city, and 55-60MPG on the motorway. So if your hubby wants a little power, but has a light wallet, I'd say go for a 150 Diesel Golf.0

At the moment Mazda are doing the Mazda 2 and 3 on 0% over 3 years with 50% deposit.
The Takuya version seems to be a good option with a lot of kit as standard.0 -
look at the Fiat Panda, OH drives one and she's more than happy with it, four fit comfortably in it, and we go pick up a weeks shopping in it, and if necessary can go for a weeks holiday(if we're careful what we pack).
New you can get for about £5k but you should be able to pick one up used for a lot less, pennies to insure, decent on fuel on short journeys, road tax is fairly low. Thanks to all the competition posters.0
