Ok its standard redundancy, so I am there 5 years, does that mean I should get 5 weeks pay? What about holiday pay etc? and what about a notice period?
I got a letter stating I was one of the chosen few who are in line for the chop, would I get more money if I held out for that?

Statutory redundancy is 1 week(adjusted for age) per year capped at £400
You are entitled to be given notice of at least 5 weeks.
Accrued but not taken holidays should be paid.
They could have you take your holiday during a worked notice period then the only pay out would be redundancy.
God Idea to confirm the terms before offering yourself up for VR0
