''Morrisons currently have an offer on boxes of Whiskas Cat Food (12 pouches) 3 for £6 until 15.05.11. Don't know if this is Nationwide or just a local offer (Kings Lynn). Having 3 cats, have just stocked up big time:j:j ''

that is a good price, does that work out at 16 pence per pouch ?
what percentage of meat do you get in whiskas pouches ?
in feline fayre you get 60 percent and you can get four pouches for a pound, 25 pence each, so i think its worth paying that extra 9 pence for quality0 -
In my local Asda they do a multipack of 8 for £1.91, so 23p each, not much I know, but handy.that is a good price, does that work out at 16 pence per pouch ?

Oh and Whiskas is only 4% meat. I just wish Feline Fayre would do a dry mix too.0 -

Thanks Julie, asked DM to get some for me on her trip to Mr M's this morning (nearest one to me is 35 miles) so have now have 6 boxes waiting to collect the next time I visit!
Yup, the meat content isn't great but it's the only thing mine will eat - I wish more companies did them in individual pouches so you could try them, I must've wasted £££££s over the years trying other brands that they then wouldn't touch (the cat shelter has benefited though)!Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

I was reading on another pet food thread that 4% is the minimun amount of the meat they have to include so that is what they declare rather than working out what was actually in it.
I lot a lof of people on here say how rubbish the commercial foods are but my lot love it and they get good quality bisucuits - the cat food is like their treat - I have a pizza, (vege)burger, crisps biscuits etc.... they get whiskas.Less stuff, more life, love, laughter and cats!

I'm kind of the same, they get Royal Canin dry - Mr A gets Indoor 27 as he's very fussy and skinny and the wee one gets the Light one as she's a bit of a pudge (the feline equivalent of a Lab - will practically eat anything). It's really funny but they never touch each others dry food for some reason.
They get a pouch of Whiskas/day between them - again really as a treat and it's a good way of being able to get them to come inside in the evenings!
I'm now nicely stocked up for a good couple of months!Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)
