IE9 crashing

Running IE9 on Win7.
When I attempt to use Santander internet banking IE crashes - I have their Rapport security software installed.
It sometimes reopens after a few seconds and takes me back to the page I was viewing. Other times it puts up a message saying unable to re-connect etc.
All other websites work without problem.
Contacted Santander who are unaware of any issues
Any ideas please?

scan for malware with malwarebytes and tdsskiller, clean temp files with ccleaner, reset IE to defaults under tools, internet options, advanced. uninstall rapport, uninstall any browser helper objects, try a different browser. Failing that, post a hijackthis log!!

I should have added that it works OK using Safari.0

Have you tried running IE9 in compatibility mode, Santander doesn't support it (yet). I get this when I go to to log in (business account) using IE9
"Our software shows us that the browser you are using to access the Santander Online Service is not one of our supported browsers. You may continue to log on if you wish to use this browser, however we cannot guarantee optimal performance. If you would like to receive further information on the browsers we do support, simply click the link at the bottom of the page."
Edit: and their list of supported browser only shows IE7, IE8 and FF3.5, now where's that rolleyes smilie
Now free from the incompetence of vodafail0 -
I had a problem with Rapport crashing various sites, so I turned it off, and now no problem.
Its function, it seems, is to point out you're entering details entered on one site into another site.
So, if you're a savvy internet banking user and not one to click on any old link in spoof emails, you'll be fine without it. IMHO.

The technical staff at Santander came back to me and confirmed what you say - they currently have a problem with IE9 and are working on a solution.Santander doesn't support it (yet). I get this when I go to to log in (business account) using IE9
They don't think that the problem is Rapport - but could be!!0 -

Are you using a MAC ?
They don't think .. .. is the ' Mandy Rice Davies ' legal defence argument - a bit like Carlsberg is .. .. etc ... probably the best .. .. etc !
- I guarantee it is. BTW Safari [ and Opera which are good browsers] do not allow [ thank god ] Crapport to wield its great clunking fist in a browser.
- 1st question, how many people have been saved by Rapport ? - none
- 2nd question, how many peoples computers have been screwed by Rapport ? - thousands
- No 3 - answer - put the two words Rapport & Problem in a search engine
- N0 4 - look up Okie Island Trading Company
