XBOX 360 Live Points

Not sure where to put this
My teenage son has xbox360 live and pays a yearly subscription he also uses his pocket money to collect "points" at £4.25 a time using me his moms debit card, however in the last couple of weeks i have noticed a lot more of these transactions taking place. I am furious with him for taking out these points without telling me.How do i go about cancelling my card with xbox to stop the points being paid out, but keeping his yearly subscription.
Thanks in advance

  • You need to go onto his xbox and delete the card from there where it will be stored, he will know how to do it as he would have had to have put the card details on the xbox.

If not, you will need to ring the customer service but you will need his gamertag also.

Every year when his subscription needs to be renewed, just buy a Gold Subscription from amazon or other shops. You will receive a card with a unique code which you enter through your xbox to receive the yearly subscription. This way your card details will not be stored with xbox.

Just phone them up and ask them to remove your card. Doing this won't cancel his Xbox Live subscription.

What it will mean is that you'll have to re-enter your card details come his renewal (and then phone up and remove your details again), or buy a 12 month subscription card on-line.

It will also mean he'll have to save more to get points. Points cards start at 800, which are around £10 at the moment.
