How Customer Service Should Be !!

Over the last few weeks have been looking for a Mobility Scooter for the missus , lots of enquiries and vast difference`s in prices was making it all so complicated !
Then i found , by accident really , this firm ........
http://www.mobility-shops.com/ based in Blackpool ! I initially called for advice on off board charging , what it meant etc ......
Talked to a guy called Steve who patiently and carefully explained the different aspects of charging Scooter batteries !
When i explained i was getting confused he then asked some questions ie , what sooter was to be used for , by who , weight , age and capabilities , where it would be kept etc .
Steve then suggested several models which would be suitable and which would not (just as important ) at no time did he attempt to sell me one of his range and even suggested scooters he did not carry !
After he had explained about warranty and service charges , if applicable , he then suggested i look around the shops and the net to compare . much clearer about products i did and found Steve`s prices matched most others give or take a few quid .
After his quiet and effecient help given before i gave him an order for a Pride GO GO Traveller Elite Plus at around 2pm , Scooter was delivered at 10 am the next day !! How good is that ? my local shop was quoting 3 weeks and was over £200 dearer !
I can reccomend Steve and his company most highly !
This is how Customer Service should Be !
Ps: there was even a free crutch holder enclosed ! £35 anywhere on the net sites ! how good is that ?

What a change to hear a positive experience of a mobility retailer. Unfortunately so many people don't (or can't) do research like Eycpl and end up at the mercy of the presuure-selling scum you see on Watchdog and this forum. Nice to hear there are some decent shops that don't take advantage of vulnerable customers.
