to be fair its a VERY common mistake - be grateful it was only £75 - I know someone who did it on a Rolex - try £990 to repair!

What kind of winder the watch has? I have a Citizen with a huge knob (no pun intended) and it is very easily to pull it out accidently when it get caught on the edge of my pockets when I am reaching for something, for example. This will allow moisture (not water) to get in and when the temperature drops, water droplets forms on the glass on the inside.
