usb wireless print server and range extender

Options
HI all

ref:

usb wireless print server and range extender

Is is possible to buy a device that is combined and will do both jobs?

My router is at the back of the house reducing range to the front (cant get wifi there). The desktop is in the middle of the house with the printer and I dont wish to leave the desktop on for sharing the printer.....

Therefore do I need 2 gadgets or will one do both jobs

Any ideas?

I've got a wireless print server in the cupboard. The number of printers it actually works with is vanishingly small and the printer I have isn't among them. The wireless bit doesn't work properly either. :(

Aside from getting a very tiny PC to act as host in place of your desktop I can think of only one viable alternative: a network-aware printer. Whilst the former can be configured to act as a wireless relay for your other computer(s) it would require a little more technical know-how to set up, especially if it isn't running Windows.
