Boiler Grants

I need to get a new boiler ours is over 15 years old!!
I am not on any benefits or have an children under 16 and I own my home, is there a grant out there for me to get cash back or some sort money towards a boiler? It looks as though unless I am on benefits etc I am not liable for a grant??
Any assistance would be great!!
Thanks

You can get some discounts from most of the big energy companies for trading in an old boiler of fitting a new one as part of the carbon reduction target initiatives (CERT?). Generally though they'll give you a £2000 discount and then charge you £2000 more than a local plumber.

The government boiler scrappage scheme has stopped now, and this was a source of grants.

Stranmge as it may seem, there are some things that we as citizens have to pay for. The Government don't provide everything. Like most of us, you will have to pay for a new boiler.

The government don't provide anything. Taxpayers provide the government with cash and it is then redistributed, often unfairly.
