as this is not a weekly or daily should it not be being posted newly each time the new question, answer and end date are up?

If it has an end date, then yes :)

each question can only be answered once, and each question has its own end date.

I'm guessing this idea's based on the fact it's not quite a weekly? Yet it's not quite a monthly, which ARE posted separately.
There is certainly a case for posting this separately, but it has worked in an updated thread with a link in regs all this time, so why change it?
I was under the impression that comps that didn't fit into the guidelines agreed some time ago after lengthy debate could be left to the OP's discretion? If I've got that wrong, apologies. Sadly the thread with that guidance disappeared some time ago. I know several others, including myself have searched & asked, but no joy :(.
I suppose this is rather like the Radio Caroline quiz that has different questions to update each day. As that's ongoing tho', it's hidden in regs, so gets far less entries if we go by the less than 20 thanks at a time!

I agree both ways as I am actually one that enters by end date and do tend to miss out on these kind of comps.
So have posted a new thread which links to the OP.
    Hope this solves the issue.

ooops wrong thread (still jealous) x
  • what link in regs? ive been through dailies, weeklies and once only threads. all threads on regs board should be linked in one of those threads as should all updated ongoing daily or weekly threads on main. i only found this one because i worked through E: 06/10 06/11 06/12 etc until i started hitting 07/10 :)

i love ongoing updated threads, but as i was repeatedly told i am in the minority and thus dont count and should shut up :rotfl:

so how am i supposed to find threads like this, earlier than the day before the end date of the final entry question, having missed all the 6 months prior entries? its not like i knew i could search for citroen car comp and find an ongoing thread to subscribe to so i would get notified every time it was bumped......suggestions please? :)

ps eightofeight thank you, yes that solves the issue as means each time form now til it ends it will be found by end daters the day before..however when we tried doing that before there was uproar at all the extra threads that were dupes being posted *shrug*
