I'm sure someone will turn up.

Not sure why you are asking if anyone else has had problems with this company, it sounds more like this company are having problems with you.

They cannot enter your property so do not let them in. Ask them to arrange a payment plan where you can repay the debt at a rate affordable to you without insulting them.

Your debt will keep growing if you don't repay it.
  • they wil not let my setup a payment plan they want the cash in full i cant afford to do this ?

They can't have what you haven't got.

Talk to the CCCS or Payplan about it, they will help you deal with this by speaking to them on your behalf.

I had a letter from them saying they would send a doorstep collector round between the 12th and 15th April, Im still waiting for him. They wont accept a payment plan from me, nor anyone else as far as I have read, so they can take me to court for the money. They are using bully boy tactics and its very doubtful they would send anyone round, they are trying to scare you, If a door step collector does show up he can do only 3 things, request payment, offer a payment plan or tell you what will happen if you cant pay, they are NOT allowed to take any of your stuff as they are not bailiffs.

Mini credit will try and take money from your account, everyday untill they get some, they dont care how much or that it leaves you and your children starving, they are NOT allowed to do this, OFT have warned payday lenders they are only to take money out of an account on the dates set out in the agreement, or with the authority of the borrower, not change the payment amount unless agreed with the borrower, only take money from the account that is specificaly for the payday loan company. They are not allowed to take multiple amounts from your account unless you have agreed it. If they do this then they can be fined by OFT and of course made to repay you the money.

Mini credit did this with me, they took money out everyday, but after contacting my bank I was advised to change my debit card so they could not do this, I then recieved a letter from mini credit stating they had tried again to take money from my debit card but the bank would not authorise it, then I got the letter stating the door step collectors would be round. They dont reply to emails and the customer service people are rude and obnoxious and refuse point blank to take a repayment plan, so as far as I am concerned they can do what they like cos taking me to court will just result in a payment plan so they would not be getting any more from me than I have offered them.

Can you write in plain English please?
It is nice to see the value of your house going up'' Why ?
Unless you are planning to sell up and not live anywhere, I can;t see the advantage.
If you are planning to upsize the new house will cost more.
If you are planning to downsize your new house will cost more than it should
If you are trying to buy your first house its almost impossible.

That's not very helpful. I am sure the OP is well aware of this fact. I can say from experiences that minicredit are complete scum and do not acknowledge or respond to any correspondence with offers of payment. So screw them, I say. Take me to court, the outcome will only be the same.

They may be scum, but every problem you hear about with payday lenders are down to people not repaying what they borrowed when they agreed. I bet the people who did the borrowing weren't calling Minicredit scum right before they borrowed the money.

If you lent out some money and then the person you lent it to disappeared, I'm sure you'd want to track them down and reclaim your money, wouldn't you?

You start off a post by saying "That's hardly helpful" and end it with that little gem. Hardly constructive advice from yourself either is it?
