    open the lid

place what you want to scan face down on the glass

    select scan on your printer

    await results on your computer

You may need to open a programm on the desktop that shows the printer and look through for option to scan and hey presto !

Have scanned it in and saved to desktop it's saved as a jpeg image is this right, I'm now trying to send it as an attachment, but a stupid message box keeps appearing when I press reply and I don't know how to get rid of it. It's saying about receipt and signature.
Sorry for all q's and thanks for your help, found the programme in windows, wasn't a button on printer

Jpeg is the name of the file that is fine to send as an attachment, save the jpeg image then draft your email and go to add atatchments from your email inbox and look through the desktop for the image and then attach it
