Hi guys

Long story so bear with me. Im 24 and been living at no32 since i was born. My dad used to pay all the bills and were supplied by british gas at the time. 7 years ago my dad passed away and i took on the responsibilities of al the bills. A year later we had our house demolished and rebuilt(whole different story). When we moved back in I assumed that i would be able to go online, check for the cheapest energy supplier and itd be done. But it wasnt so simple. Apparantley British Gas were still our suppliers even though i had switched to and started paying bills to eon. After about a year of passing the blame, i decided to tell both of them where to stick their supplies and switched to edf.

Currently on EDF's online saver v6 plan and im really happy with it. Im only paying a monthly direct debit of £51 and theyve never given me a reason to complain.

This past week I got a call from a British Gas rep who apologised for the previous bad service I had received and offered to give me a really good deal. He said he would match what i was paying EDF and give me a £75 credit on my gas bill so I would be paying £539. After a year I would also get a £110 credit on my account and he would give me smart meter. The plan that he mentioned was websaver12 but when ive tried searching online I cant see it anywhere. So is he just bluffing or is websaver 12 a special package for customers they really want.

Hes gonna be ringing me back on friday 5ish so I was hoping someone could shed some light on this before then

Thanks in Advance

Thats what i thought. Ive googled, binged, msn'd and every other thing possible to try and find if it actually exists but still had no luck. If i was to go for the deal do you think i would be able to get the tariff capped if it really is as cheap as i got told
