Yes, I have both and use them as appropriate.brassmonkey001 wrote:So it would be worth applying for both then?
I've looked at the T&Cs for the current account, am I right in saying that there is no minimum amount that has to be credited each month? I see there is a table that gives different levels of interest for different amounts credited per month, but I can't see anything that says you must credit this account with x amount per month.
In fact, there is a little advertised basic FlexAccount (which I have) that comes with a cash card rather than a debit card but still offers commission-free foreign cash withdrawals (obviously it does not offer card purchases but this is not a problem as I also have the credit card). This does not offer a cheque-book or an overdraft but this is fine as I do not use these features and just leave £10 in it for most of the year.0
