Anyone recommend a good/cheap adsl over power line adapter?

Options
One of my maxvalue adsl powerline adaptor things has just broken. They're pretty pricey to buy, so I wondered if anyone knew of:

a) one that is cheap, yet compatible with mine

b) alternately, a cheap and reliable alternative

Thanks!

If you're referring to powerline Ethernet adapters they start at around £35 a pair. Should your ISP have provided you with a wireless router, USB wireless adapters can be had for under a tenner apiece though these are arguably less reliable than a physical connection.

    Alternatively, just get longer cables.

If this is homeplug you are talking about all the 85Mbps ones are interchangeable but will not work with the 200Mbps ones. I'm not 100% sure if the 200Mbps ones are all compatible with each other or not. The cheapest alternative is an ethernet cable.
