Improving worktop without replacing

Hi
I wondered if anyone had any advice on how to improve the appearance of a dull laminate kitchen worktop. I am doing up the kitchen on a tight budget and can't afford a new worktop as I would need to buy four 3 meter lengths. There is nothing wrong with the worktop other than it being dull and wondered if anyone could suggest a way to rejuvenate it and make it shiny without it costing the earth.
Many thanks.

Buy some T-Cut form a car accessories shop. It is used by the motor trade to bring car paint work back to a a shine. Can be used in a whole range of surfaces.Eat vegetables and fear no creditors, rather than eat duck and hide.0

I used countertop magic on my laminate surface: admittedly the worktop was new at the time but it had been subjected to 8 months of mess and abuse from stripping back and redecorating the whole house so it was pretty filthy. Not sure how well it would work on your surface but might be worth a try:

what about a vase of flowers to look nice on the worktop?0
