DIY: How to make a new fence look weathered/distressed

Hi everyone. We have a new picket fence which has been pre-treated and looks very new and incorrect next to our lovely old gray/green weathered 5-bar gate.
Is there anyway I can stain it to give it an older look? Googling has offered the following suggestions:
Apply a solution of baking soda + water
or
Buy "weathered wood stain", a product which seems to only be available in the USA.
Any advice would be very gratefully received. Many thanks!

Algae should grow if you paint on diluted natural yoghurt or diluted manure (I know which one I'd try first!)0

paint it with milk.

the greenish colour from tanalising will usually start to fade within a couple of weeks of sun exposure and with a month or so will be light brown. Will take about a year to start to grey.0
