Anyone had wedding abroad

We got married in Italy in 2007, we just found a nice town we wanted and found nice wedding planners. They sorted everything for $800 euro, inc lovely fresh flowers on the day. Anyway, all in for $2500 - inc great reception at a small restaurant in the town square for 70 guests. Far cheaper than doing it at home0
