Dead Pixels on HTC Phone

Hi all,
I just ordered the HTC Desire Z phone from Amazon. The device itself is great, however, there seem to be 2 dead pixels central of the screen which are very distracting on a white background.
Do people think there is a chance that amazon will exchange the product. On such a small screen, the dead pixel are quite a nuisance...

I can't see how they would have any choice. If they did not say it has defects and it obviously has them, then it is by definition defective.
In your position I would contact then and politely request a replacement, without even a hint of doubt.0 -
I am hoping that they replace it, however, for monitors there is also a policy that the unit is only taken back if there is a large number of dead pixels. So I was assuming there is a similar policy for mobile phones.

That "policy" would only be valid if they explained it to you clearly in advance.
Some suppliers try to hide behind an ISO "standard" - which is actually only a voluntary guideline - but in consumer law they don't have a leg to stand on if they don't tell you about defects in advance.0
