Hey,
I just phoned M&S up to get accounts details to pay a standing order onto my new credit card and it turns out that they use a Barclays account for this, why not a HSBC one considering they are owned by HSBC?
Cheers,
Shaun

Not uncommon. My HSBC sharesave account is with Halifax and the HSBC Exec expenses account is run by RBS. I think its done to promote 'transparency' and so they can't be accused of fiddling figures. Plus M&S Money may have been using Barclays before the agreement was in place with HSBC.0

Ah ok, fair enough - thanks, it just came across as a bit odd at first but it does make sense0
