The work and pensions committee held a meeting on the 4 May 2011 to discuss the migration from Incapacity benefit to ESA,the object of this meeting was to discuss the migration process and to hear from organisations who represent claimants,an academic expert and a prime welfare to work provider.Provision was made for individuals to submit evidence regards the process detailing any ideas they may have to improve it along with any experiences they may have had with it to date.
Submissions made from the general public has written evidence were just 61*
Personally i find this figure to be poor and given that many people on this site are in the position of having their benefits threatened i would have thought that many of you should have made the time to forward your thoughts/experiences to the committee.Be aware that you need to fight if you want a fair system regards the WCA and ATOS just leaving it to others is not enough, protect your interests and that of your families, get involved wherever possible and fight these cuts.
