If someone asked me to do a literacy test i would sock them hard. Actually really, really hard. I have noticed though that the quality of my grammar is slipping on MSE. It feels strangely liberating to not have to use capital letters for proper nouns and at the beginning of sentences. My schoolteacher's would be so upset. I had to go back and correct myself on Bob's thread last night as i posted things without thinking and as usual had many errors. Whoops! must be good.

I don't always correct myself. I must admit answering on a forum, is a little like 'Stream of consious-ness' we reply as we think.

Make your own crisps Kit-wafer thin slices of veg- season them with chilli, or salt and pepper. If you spray them with spray light and put them on a tray in the oven, you can satisfy your cravings and have a healthy frugal snack for pennies :)x

My oven is a fan oven so they tend to cook very quickly- (about 20 mins). You can buy trays apparently to put them on- i have seen some at a reasonable price in B&M bargains.
I usually have the oven on 180-200

Veg i have used-turnip( i do like them) potatoes( the skins can be nice, but make sure they are well scrubbed) Carrots or any hard root veg really. One of my friends uses beetroot- not my fav i have to say.
I have flavoured with chilli sprinkles, garlic salt( healthy alternative kit) i also have low sodium salt in and cracked pepper.

So far no complaints and it makes a large amount. When you think a bag of crisps is the weight of an average small potato- well you can see the mark up.

Oh my gosh i eat, (attempt to eat really as I don't ever complete theom) a turnip once a year. I would love to try this. Susan suggested it too.

I will get my bottom back i promise.
