I cooked a pork casserole in the slow cooker and we have just had some of that with s/world wedgies - yummy - and there is a portion left to freeze for Mr 3Dogs to have when I am away next

And I've been to Mr T's for an offer I saw online - I bought their Meal Deal getting a main course, side dish and dessert plus a bottle of wine for £10 see this thread for details - this is a good deal anyway, but, by getting Turner Road chardonay (or Merlot) if they have it in the wine aisle, I can put my receipt into T's price checker and get a voucher for £5.93 tomorrow being the difference between Mr T's £9.99 and Asda's £4.06 for the Turner Road - meaning that I get the meal deal with wine for £4.07 :j :j :j

For more details see this thread https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/3241700

Now I wouldn't normally buy this sort of deal as we don't eat that sort of food, but I chose the Chicken Breasts stuffed with cheese & ham, Moroccan Cous Cous and 2 x Strawberry Cheesecake, all from their finest Range. I have frozen the two stuffed chicken Breast (they are like kievs) separately so Mr 3Dogs can use them for 2 meals when I am away, will have the cous cous with some meat in it for a main meal for us, and we will have the cheesecakes on Tuesday lunchtime after we get back from getting weighed on Tuesday as our treat for the week. The wine, if Mr 3Dogs doesn't drink it when I am away, will stay in the booze cupboard for visitors as we don't really drink it much - we top half a glass of wine with diet cola when we have it, so a waste of a good wine really :p

[STRIKE]£10[/STRIKE] £4.07 well spent ....... oh, hang on .............. I used a DTD voucher to pay for it ;) ............... so I did not 'spend' anything ;);)

Oooer. Well done on being so good MSEing.

Most people would top it up with lemonade but neither of us like lemonade, too sweet-tasting, so I have always used cola and Mr 3Dogs does the same - it does make it into a nice refreshing drink ;)
