Hiya Kit - sorry you're still feeling ill but hope you'll feel better after chilling by watching TV :j
No decluttering done here after all - Linda hobbled round to ours to tell us that DLA letter had come this afternoon and they will be reinstating her benefit, but will not increase her Care Component from mid to high  At least they will be paying her back-dated money into the bank over this coming week. Then, Mr 3dogs fell asleep on the sofa  He woke up when I put some homemade soup out for us, but too late to start any work now as he will be going to bed at 7/7.30 pmMr 3Dogs 3-7-12

Hi everyone. Hi Hovel Lady
Aesop, my two were really late in going into the terrible two's and the eldest hasn't really come out of it at 7!
Pleased you got Linda to the bank 3Dogs, that will all be a weight off your minds. Kit, hope you're feeling better today. Eat well, sit comfy and sleep peacefully.
We went to Dogs Trust today, and erm we have set the ball rolling for adopting a four month old beagle puppy. He has some labrador in him so not a pure breed but I don't care. We sat in his kennel for ages. It's true what you say 3Dogs about them finding you - he shared his kennel with other puppies, they all came for a nosey and a jump up at the kennel grate but then got bored - this lil cute beagle was jumping up and down at the little one.
He's dark brown with the most gorgeous big white feet. His fur is lush tooIt wasn't until we applied for the adoption that we found out his background. He was found in Ireland, Cork in a ditch with his litter and his Mam. They were handed into Dogs Trust who shipped him over here to give them a better chance of a home. He is very excitable and with being a beagle he will need walking and walking and walking - I might lose my weight!
We have our home visit on Wednesday, landlord has given the go-ahead so we're hoping he'll be home with us next weekend :j Me and DH have puppy class to go to in the morning, I'm so excited about that.
The Kennels named him Oliver Twist, which sums his life up bless him. Little one wants to call him Roobs so Rueben and Roobs for short is his name.0 -

Great news Froogs - a BEAGLE :j :j Our Billy is a Beagle/Jack Russell cross - adorable, mad, fun of fun, very loyal and full of energy, so yes, will need lots of walking and playing. Need to get to the training though, as they will take advantage if not trained, but sounds like he has found his new home. Well done Roobs :j :j
We want photos as soon as you get him Froogs :j :j :j :jMr 3Dogs 3-7-12

We get to spend some more time with him tomorrow so hopefully get some pictures then. Dogs Trust have given us some info about training but I have to admit I'm daunted and so scared I don't do it right. Going to reserve some books at library and see what Play have with free delivery. Hopefully at puppy class I'll pick the important part up. Dh has had dogs all his life until we got together so he knows what he's doing but I'll be the one with the lil fella day in day out so it falls to me to learn and fast.
Very excited though :j Just think, if we had gone to the Hebrides we would never have had him.0
