You're a good friend to Linda 3Dogs. It's nice to have a shoulder to share the burden.

Aesop, I've been meaning to ask - why is google your friend? Been to get free samples of tea on facebook. I don't know how I feel about all my friends seeing me grabbing freebies on there etc. I shouldn' be bothered should I really? I am what I am and as skint as I am lol

3Dogs is a wonderful friend to a lot of friends :D

Google is my friend because when I am unsure of something, like how to get the !!!!!!!g back of my new phone, that I resented paying money for today, due to DS making me drop my old one down the toilet, I googled how to open it.

I got sick of reading people asking how to do things or asking for info without first looking themselves.

I find Google as a search engine is pretty good, it can be biased towards whoeve ris paying the highest advertising fee, but have used it quite regularly for answers to things and it has been good.

if you are that worried, set up a new profile.

I have a comping profile for my competitions, it keeps all the comping buddies in one place, and I can post comps, etc to my heart's content without people asking why I am liking strange random pages. Although those friends who know me, know why I am.

(((froogs)))) sounds like you are low in confidence nun.

    stuff what everyone else thinks.

I am not ashamed of who I am, I would love to have a bit more money, but am sick of people thinking this that and the other of me.

at least I am not racking up debt on credit cards.

and it didn't hurt during the war, when they lived off ration books and made meals out of nothing. maybe if some of us went back to that lifestyle it would make us nicer people. people who share, open doors, say please and thank you.

this guy in front of us on the bus dropped his drink on the floor, couldn't reach it and it rolled back to us. He was looking for it and I asked DS to pick it up for him, tight squeeze, I couldn't reach... :rotfl:

the lady sitting next to the guy said the little boy behind you is getting your drink! and he turned around as DS gave it to him and said thanks to DS and thank you to me.

he was shocked and this is so wrong, we shouldn't be like this.

anyway apart from that, if companies don't give freebies, how do they promote themselves and get people buying from them?

DS is being a huge pain in the butt! he is touching everything off mine and breaking it.

the last 2 days i have had to send him to his room and tell him to lie on his bed and think about it. not that he took a blind bit of notice.

that's the problem as soon as he is awake, he wants to go out, he doesn't even let me eat breakfast.

and then when I say I need to do some stuff before we go out, he just gets naughty. I try to let him help where I can, empty the washing machine, peg the clothes out, etc. but is not always possible.

Morning everyone - just a quick post before I take Linda into the bank in town. It is a clear blue sky here, but cold

Sorry to hear DS being so awkward Aesop and, like Steve, I hope he grows out of it soon.

See you all later - we are doing some uncluttering of the bedroom this afternoon - that should be fun

DS has a cold and we were supposed to be meeting his friend this morning to go the bunny park. His friend has woken up with flu like symptoms :(

I have been told it is going around so to be careful of DS as his cold may develop into something more :(

shame, as it is a lovely sunny day, not tremendously warm but good enough to enjoy the bunny park.

Will have to ebay I suppose .....
