Hello everyone - newbie coming out of many years lurkdom here. I just have a quick question - do any of you hear from Mouseann and Niddy? I used to love reading her thread, and NID was such a hero - they both seem to have gone!
Hello Dorothy - no, I don't think they are on MSE anymoreMr 3Dogs 3-7-12

Back from shopping with Linda and we've had our dinner - a very quickly made paella which was lovely
I have felt extremely tired today. Stayed in bed this morning too, but when I got back from shopping I felt exhausted - like if I closed my eyes, I would just sleep as I stood. Use to get this all the time but it hasn't happened for quite a time, so not goodMr 3Dogs 3-7-12

Yes, I called with my forms at the council offices, but they said I should have taken them to the Advice shop in Wisbech or March and they would have scanned my paperwork into the system and then given me them back. I normally do that, but thought calling into the council offices would be the same. As it was too late to go to the advice shop, I left all the paperwork there with a note to scan them and post back to me, and she addressed them to HB/CTB section. As they had to be in by 20th, I will ring or email them on Monday to tell them what I have done, so hope it will be okMr 3Dogs 3-7-12

:j :j :j :j that's good news to me pet. As you say, don't be drawn into giving a home to just any dog, just so you don't go away empty handed. We visited Wood Green 3 times before we found Bonnie, or she found us, the way it happened. There were lots of lovely dogs but I just knew they weren't right for us, but they will find a family so don't fall for the big eyes too much if they aren't right for you. We had given up looking for the day on the third visit, but I just wandered round the outside while Mr 3Dogs nipped to the loo, and I saw a dog we hadn't seen in the pens. So we went back in and traced her. She came straight over to us and rolled her little bit of toy under the fence and stared at Mr 3Dogs, he kicked it back to her and she ran and got it and rolled it under the fence for him to do it again. He was smitten, hook, line and sinker
I was not sure but she has turn into the best dog we have ever had. We got her in July 2000 and haven't regretted it since. Love her to bits.
I always find that a dog will find you, one way or another, so take you time and let the right dog find you hun
There's 76 dogs in there all wanting a home. It's really sad. No, I'm going to be strong. It has to be right for us. It'll be with me all day, every day so I need to be comfortable with it. And then there's the girls. The little thing needs to be right for them too - although the little one loves any and every dog so it'll be hard for her to understand if we say no. I hope the staff don't feel we're picky.0 -

Yes, I do - Anne, Eddie, Christine and the girls go on holiday on Tuesday so will just be my brother to visit Mam and that is too much for him. Mam is not good at the moment so Anne is really ready for this breaksteviehants wrote: »Hello Susan & Kit...

They won't think that Froogs - they want the dogs to go to a home where they will be happy and well-loved, and are there for life - if you get the wrong dog and have to take it back, their work starts all over again - so take your time hunMr 3Dogs 3-7-12
