Morning all. I had a very late night last night. Too much adrenalin and caffeine. Everyone at work was in a complete todo about the reports we all have to write. I will finish it off before mid week which is the deadline.

I slept like a log. Yay. All is well and am happy again. Normal service is about to resume. :j:beer::)

Ps Am doing an Aesop but i had a notice that there are zero insertion fees this weekend on fleabay. :D:D:D:D Wonder if i will ever get round to fleabaying anything. Maybe this weekend? I am in self inflicted purdah (cooee that's a word you dont hear very often. Crumbs when was the last time I remember it being used?) as i dont want to give anyone my bug so i will be alone this weekend. Just me, the internet and the planet. OH DEAR!!! Be warned. :rotfl:

Still it's Friday, have a good one.

Hope Beanie's wedding is going well and she makes lots of friends. And HL, good luck with the move. Yay to happy things. :)

  • What's a purdah sw? I haven't heard of that.

Guess what? We aren't getting a polish lowland sheepdog any more. We worked out it would take 25 months to save the money  so ... 3Dogs :D we're taking a trip to the Dogs Trust tomorrow to put the feelers out for a dog that needs a home.

I'm wary and scared that I won't be drawn to anything but feel so sorry if I walk away not giving a home to one of them that i'll settle for a one I won't bond with. I'll just have to be tough and wait till something feels right for us. I feel a bit mean though.

sw, it's Friday! Yey! And nearly half term. :j

Sw it's when indian ladies used to cut themselves off from people in the olden days. I read about it in a story book once. Utter tosh and nonsense. Gosh i know such nonsense. Froogs you have to go with what is best for you. Dont feel guilty. Life is too short you know? Do what feels right at the time and everything will fall into place. My blood sugars went a bit crackers last night. Yesterday was a fab day but extremely stressful. Everyone looks as if they are about to have a breakdown at work! I have to go back to sleep but only because it is 21, it'll soon fall. The important thing is that the vertigo, self confidence rubbish has all gone and i am happy again. Yay.

Have a good'un. Can you email pictures when you find a doggie? I know you, you are such a softy. Big eyes and you will choose the right one. Hooray.

Off to bedski. Wonder how Beanie is getting on? HOpe she travelled ok and will make lots of friends.

:j :j :j :j that's good news to me pet. As you say, don't be drawn into giving a home to just any dog, just so you don't go away empty handed. We visited Wood Green 3 times before we found Bonnie, or she found us, the way it happened. There were lots of lovely dogs but I just knew they weren't right for us, but they will find a family so don't fall for the big eyes too much if they aren't right for you. We had given up looking for the day on the third visit, but I just wandered round the outside while Mr 3Dogs nipped to the loo, and I saw a dog we hadn't seen in the pens. So we went back in and traced her. She came straight over to us and rolled her little bit of toy under the fence and stared at Mr 3Dogs, he kicked it back to her and she ran and got it and rolled it under the fence for him to do it again. He was smitten, hook, line and sinker ;) I was not sure but she has turn into the best dog we have ever had. We got her in July 2000 and haven't regretted it since. Love her to bits.

I always find that a dog will find you, one way or another, so take you time and let the right dog find you hun :D:D

Hiya everyone - it is sunny here today, a little cool but nice :j

Hope everyone has a good day today - I didn't go down to the car boot with Mr 3Dogs this morning but he did well. I am just having a cuppa then off to take Linda for her shopping and I'll have to call into the council offices with that paperwork when we are out too. See you all later :D

Hello everyone - newbie coming out of many years lurkdom here. I just have a quick question - do any of you hear from Mouseann and Niddy? I used to love reading her thread, and NID was such a hero - they both seem to have gone!
