Good luck with housework. I do with DH would help you more. It is hard tidying after little children. I used to tidy after my nieces left and they were only here for a while.

The song really makes you think. Good times and bad times but this is it. We have to make the most of everyday and rejoice in our friends.

Better go and get off my soap box.

DH is very old fashioned, thanks to his mum.

He also HAS to work 7 days now, so we can pay rent, so he expects me to do everything else if he is working so hard.

it is easier just to get on with it. DS doesn't like the raised voices and arguments. It is wonderful how intuitive kids are and how they manage to diffuse a situation. DH was trying to argue yesterday in front of DS, DS could tell by his tone it was not a good conversation, so he kept replying with funny things, and laughing. Told DH to leave the conversation not doing it in front of DS.

Well done on coping with it all. When my house is done anytime you need a break visit me ok. LB can play in the garden and he will be busy and you can chill for once.

She certainly does Kit - this is the song I sing to myself most often - and I just love Doris Day's voice :j :j I'll be singing it all day now :rotfl: :rotfl:

Hope you manage all your shopping done hun and Aesop gets her housework done - Geordie Mr 3Dogs might be but he doesn't moan about the state of the house - perhaps he should, that way it might get tidied

    It's raining here today :(

Defrosted leg of lamb from freezer which I've had in there since DTD days and Mr 3Dogs has de-boned it for me. Diced some up and got a lamb curry cooking in the slow cooker, rolled up the other main piece with spices & inside and put that in fridge to cook tomorrow, and put bones and bits & pieces in to boil for doggies - good value for a £20'ish Leg of lamb which I got for about £2 with DTD :money: :money:

As the curry won't be ready for todays dinner, I have some haddock fillets almost ready, cooking with veg in low fat Campbells condensed mushroom soup (Free with voucher) to have with jacket potato very soon. The curry will be lovely to come home from the car boot to tomorrow :D:D

Lovely smells wafting around the house at the moment :j :j

Hello just arrived all shopping done. Bought loads of fruit from market just as it was closing. Made it just in the nick of time spent £5. Saved loads as I dont really buy fruit in supermarkets i bought 2lbs of clementines, 5 nectarines, punnet of green and black grapes, 4 bananas and 2lbs of plums. Then i bought lots of goodies from Mr Ts with vouchers. I couldn't buy my printer inks from Whsmiths and use the voucher i had so i went to Mr Ts and paid the grand sum of 6.97 which wont break the bank. If anyone has a voucher for Velvet loo rolls you can use them at the coop as you can buy 12 loo rolls for £5.00 and save 50 with voucher and only pay £4.50. Yay to cheap essentials. I spent a lot of money in 99p shop on goodies for xmas - nice stuff and also weet+bix cereal bars - nice with lunch at work. :D:D:D

Weatherwise we had some light drizzle. Don't mind at all, wore anorak and my hair still looks good. I bought lots of chocs for when the boys are popping by tomorrow night. They have to drop their friend off in Portsmouth and will call in and see me for a chocolate fix on Sunday. Yay. :D:j:j:j:j
