Walking to Health is a fantastic scheme. When i was really ill a few years ago i had to learn how to walk again as my muscles had wasted away. I walked like a granny and i was 32!!! and i met some lovely people and we had great walks at a gentle pace. It was good as it was cheery and you learnt lots and it was outside too in the sun so you stayed happy.
Children's books are great. Remember the Mr Men?
