Hope everyone is well & looking forward to a nice restful weekend.
Not been around the last few days as felt a bit tired & needed some early nights.
Passed my old farm today & its up for rent again (boult you know the one on the road towards M) ....keep telling myself I must not be tempted....I must NOT!! My family made me move out as they were worried about me in that big old place alone but I liked the isolation & look back on the place with fond memories. The views were just breathtaking from out in the fields....hmmm the £300 council tax per month was a bit steep though & it had the biggest spiders & beetles I have ever seen:eek::eek::eek:.
Whats everyone upto this weekend?
It is a lovely view up there, can lend you adopt-a-cat for the spider's and beetle's if you decide to come back.
And I'm working this weekend:(£71.93/ £180.000 -

LOL...the dogs used to come in with all sorts of weird toad/frog/rats/mice/birds/rabbits etc & I remember I used to have to check my bed for spiders before I got in it at night.:eek:
I shall resist the urge to move back though as it was far too big with no roof insulation & damp cellars so it was bitter in the winter and could never get the place warm....I learnt what the phrase `chilled to the bone` really meant & I think at one point I had a bit of hypothermia...hence my family moving me to a small modern bungalow. I`m in a lovely cosy (very old) cottage again now and when I get my woodburner & an aga I`ll be totally happy again.
Sorry you have to work all weekend..:(:(0 -

Aesop is your phone ok? Oh dear.
Patman well done on helping your family out and also on having a new baby in your family. Yay they are so cheerful.
Angel and Beanie there are spiders blooming everywhere outside. I have four on every corner of my bedroom window am too scared to open it.
Steve and andy bought me so many bargain foods and Alan gave me a glass computer desk. It is so nice. I am using it now. My phone is still broken. The gang helped me buy a bargain set of four for half the price i paid for set of phones with lots of vouchers and things. I am learning this money saving malarkey. So happy. I have loads of work to do and might go and sit down as a bit tired. Had a long day at work today but am happy.
The weekend was marvellous. The boys really looked after us and we went to shaftesbury and saw the Hovis hill (where they made the adverts), and cathedral where King Canute was buried. I ate loads of icecream, cake, chocolate and crisps. My bum now takes up 4 seats on a bus instead of 2!!! :oBut am jolly happy.Aiming for a minimal spend 20220
