do you need data on this?

    no I don't hun.

not for work. We have to do it for OFSTED or the Govt. something. We have to cover certain topics each month - the same ones each month and record it, so when we are asked, we can prove it. Otherwise we could lose our training licence.

also have to do continuous professional development - so this looks good on that.

I am sure that DD thoroughly enjoyed her birthday party though Froogs :j :j

When I visited Mam tonight, after taking my sister and BiL to the ferry for their trip away, her door was closed and I could hear her shouting as I went down the hallway. She grabbed hold of me when I went in and hugged me, saying that she wanted to go home. The male nurse came up to see her straight away and said that, although she'd had a tablet last night, she had only slept about 3 hours and had been shouting most of the day. He was therefore going to give her another tablet after her dinner

Mam kept shouting, but just the start of words, or 'I don't know what to do', I can't keep doing this' 'I want to go home'. I tried to settle her, but she was still distressed like this as I fed her dinner. I did not give her any ice cream as the nurse had said that she had 'loose bowels' at moment and should only have what they feed here. Worryingly, the nurse had told my Sis at lunch time that 2 other ladies had the same problem  Nurse came later with her meds, which she took easily enough, and put her nebuliser on her, and he came back later to talk to her and me. She was responding a little better by then. I was trying to persuade her to sleep, and the nurse asked her if she wanted to sleep, she said no. He then asked her if she had nightmares when she slept and Mam said yes. A little later, a carer came to check her and changed her pads, and Mam was a little more settled after that, as she was more comfortable. When I left, I said I had to go and have my dinner, and she said 'oh, have you not had your dinner yet', I said no, and she said 'you'd better have something then' so she was much more coherent. Hopefully, she will have got to sleep and will rest overnight as she is wearing her voice, and herself, out with all this shouting, poor little thing :(

You are the person with the most 'kudos' on here Aesop, they should already respect your opinions and advice - you are a star, so we don't need MSE stars to tell us that :A :A
    hear hear!

Hi all, sitting in PJ's and dressing gown at my Sister's house, and will be going to bed soon as an early start in the morning as train is about 9.15 am and I have to get Metro up to the station as BiL is not here to run me up there :( but it is only a short walk to the metro station and, although I have to change metro trains on the way, it is only a short journey and I use the lift between platforms, etc

Gosh you have had a busy day today and tomorrow is going to be so too. I will see you when i get back after 5. A looong day tomorrow. Please give my love to Alan. Cant wait to see him. hugs, kitXXXXX
