I know what you mean there HL - our two younger ones were rescue dogs and there 'breed' is decidedly questionable - the male dog was offered to us by friends who rescued him on a busy road in a storm and described as a young Jack male pup. When we went to pick him up we went Oh, isn't he lovely ..... then noticed his rather large paws. We raise funds for a local dog rescue and the lady there, and the kennels we board them at, are both sure he has lots of Beagle in him, though we originally thought he was part Staffie - and this suits him fine - he is mad, boisterous but terribly loyal and we adore him ...... most of the time ;)

  • Sorry, been away updating the blog. Needed somewhere safe to get some things out.

Hovel dog has very big feet but he never digs.

Our two 'youngsters' do dig   which is a problem but where we live now has a mainly flagstoned small garden so not much scope for them to do that now ;) The middle dog in particular used to love digging large deep holes in the lawn or border

I've got to log-off for now - bring my washing in before it either rains or it gets blown away, and then go down to visit Mam for lunch-time. My brother got away OK this morning and the council workmen turned up on time and got the jobs done quickly, which was great

Back later - will post a pic of my 3 dogs HL, so you can meet them properly :j

Hovel lady, don't worry about the 20 questions, SW never forgets, she grilled me with 20 questions when I first came on here. So make sure you get thinking about your answers, it is like being on mastermind.
