Pain, pain and more pain *sigh* there are a few threads where people might be around and this is one of them, not up to the Arms as it can get a bit raunchy sometimes and I am not in the mood!

can the Drs give you anything for the pain?

I had a fractured ankle about 7 years ago.

I still have the metal plate in my ankle, it cannot bear anyone's weight on it, otherwise it really hurts.

Unfortunately most processed drugs (Shall we say) I get all the side effects and none of the benefits  (you know the ones where they say 1 in a googleplex will get x side effect, well that will be me :o), when my ankle was done in 15 year back they left it a year, then when it didn't knit together they removed between a third and half of the bone, moved things around a bit, squirted some WD40 in there, gave me three physio appointments and told me to live with it (with the added information that at some unspecified time in the future it would all go pear shaped and the ankle would be royally FUBARed but hey that's life!)

SD had a great time, she came with boyfriend and we saw very little of her. They went to London every day, as he has never been, and did sightseeing. Went to see Billy Elliott on Monday, (they are Geordies after all!) and had won tickets to the England match on Tuesday, so went to that. Luckily they didn't see the man who got killed.

Wed we went bowling, both her boyfriend and I beat them both :j

Been busy, have got an exam tomorrow, and DH will be at home to look after DS, so today I need to study.

Went out yesterday, had a lovely day with a friend and her DS, went to Wacky Warehouse for only a £1 each, as I had vouchers ;) I love couponing!

doing well on mccains vouchers nearly got all the xmas pressies for DH's side of the family.
  • OMG How busy have you been?:D:D:D:D And nice things too good for you girl.

    Good on you.

    Good luck with the revision.
