Things to do when you are down: drink diet coke!, eat cake, (in my case rich tea biscuits to control my blood sugars), watch a happy film, have a lovely bath and put on fave perfume, ring a friend, or post on MSE, cook something nice, play happy music - like the Bangles or the Monkees.

This works for me most of the time.

It's a very long time since my thoughts were as dark as this and my coping strategies are, well, fairly rusty.
Can't sleep, hurting myself, not eating probably, it's not good.

Hovel can you call a friend to stay over? can you stay with a friend tonight? so you are not alone?

You can ring the Samaritans. They are open all night if it helps you not to self harm. They are very good.

In my case it's start baking:o, it's a habit I picked up from Gran, only thing is........I don't have a lot of people to eat it,..... hummmmm......... think I'v found out why me and OH are getting fatter:rotfl: dose anyone want to move in and help out by eating thing's up?
