No it's not right at all. Is there not a governing body of inspections, like Ofsted in education, they are so strict when it comes to child minding and yes I agree Kit, schools and heads in particular know just how to play the game to get an 'outstanding'. As a child minder you must display the contact number for Ofsted to complain or raise concerns.

I completely agree with your concerns about getting members of staff 'pulled up' and how that may manifest its self into an unhappy carer and we can't have this.

I wonder if a record of what happens, how frequently, etc and sent to the governing body or local authorityanonomously because this is basic care. Damn bloody basic care let alone your mam's feelings.

I'm angry for you and I'm angry at pathetic inspectors, poor management and staff being hired that aren't appropriate for the job they do. Sorry 3Dogs, it's not right but I don't know how to help or what to suggest
