Well, I have rested more in that I slept in and missed my appointment at the opticians
Had to make my apologies and new appointment for next week
Yes, we are really pleased with the sofa - Steve must have told you
We got it at the auction on Wewdnesday - a sage green leather 2-seater with wood trim on front for ..................... £25, to go with the very light grey leather 3-seater sofa bad we got the other week for £130 :j :j :j OK they aren't the same colour, but I work on the principle that you can never match colours buying them separately, so don't try too - and they both match the room, so look ok

Oh, and the dogs love them both   :rotfl: :rotfl:
Oh, and forgot to add, a phone call from Steve always perks me up too, that's why we miss him and Andy on here x x x

They always cheer me up too. Am a miserable moo sometimes.
It is v hot outside. It is cooler inside. Just come in for a cup of tea. Dying to go to sleep!!! i have completed most of my filing. On Monday and Tuesday i will sort out my handouts and class notes for this subject. One day should be enough. I am v pleased. It has taken nearly two weeks to sort this palaver out!!!Aiming for a minimal spend 20220 -
Well done on the college work petal. It's much cooler here today, plenty of cloud about. But at least it is dry after yesterdays downpours. It is actually very comfortable today, which is nice
I'm just waiting for alan to come home - he did the car boot this morning, then went to view at auction, and then back to car boot to sort some space in the storage units as he has put our old suite in there to sell when he can - he has had his lunch down there so no need to cook anything for him coming home, which is good
By the way, Mam has been yelling again and distressed the last couple of days - seems to be part of her 'cycle' - OK then yelling then sleepy, then OK again - so hope she has been sleepy today, as it is very distressing for my sister, especially with her bad chast at the moment

I am so tired. I only lasted an hour in the heat. i am going to sleep as eyes hurt. I will work in a while when it cools down. My head hurts.Aiming for a minimal spend 20220 -
Yes, we've got to be honest and say we didn't expect Mam to last this long in the home - but she has been in since the beginning of November, so 9 months down the road, and she has her 92nd Birthday coming up in exactly one month's time - and she is no worse really than when she went in
Alan is home now so having a cuppa - take care hun, especially of your eyes :A

Hello Everyone,
Yes its me thought i had better come & say hello to you all after a long break,
Well i've been very busy sorting out the stuff in the garage & in the loft while my dad is away on his anual holiday. Andy has been helping me which is a big help as i couldnt manage it on my own. Our neighbour has kindly loan us his trailer so any items we dont want he takes it to the local tip & we go to unload it. so on monday he will do the same again with the second load. We have found lots of items which some of it we will drop of at Susan & Alans on our way up as we are heading north for our holiday as Alan can hopefuly sell it at the car boot sale & the bulky items they will collect in september when they come to visit us again. Its always nice to see them & Kit or course. It like a holiday for them & they sure do relax whilst they are here.
