I'll be around some of tomorrow SW, I am trying to type some stuff up but with a numb right hand typing is ..... fun (not!!)

That does not sound much like fun Dragon - hope you managed to get it done anyway :D

Sounds like you had a hard day too Kit, after your weekend too, so hope you are resting now, and tomorrow too ;)

I took Mr 3Dogs over to his mate's workshop to fix car and was heading back into town to pick up prescription for my injured friend and post eBay books Mr 3Dogs had his first 2 sales on eBay on Sunday :j :j but I got a call from him to say he had only picked the gasket set and head bolts up, so could I go home and get the filter set and the van keys as he couldn't even start without them  So I had to trail back home and pick them up and run over there again, then back into town to pick up prescription but the PO in the next village I was going to post the parcels at was closed for lunch by then

I came home, took my friend her prescription, had a quick chat to see how she was, then rushed back in for a quick shower and change, and straight out to catch the bus into town, then called at main PO to post the parcels as I walked across town and up the long road to where the slimming class is held - took about half an hour to walk there. Had to stay for all 3 classes to help with weighing but managed to get a lift right home from one of the members attending the last class, so got home at 8.15 pm

I rang Mr 3Dogs about 6 pm to check on progress on the van repair. He said he'd done it all, and started up the engine but there wasn't much power to the engine. when they checked the water, it was full of oil again - the oil is getting straight into the coolant system so ......................... the engine is kaputt :(:(

His mate made a couple of calls to friends in Essex and located a replacement engine which he will check out and pick up when he is down there on Wednesday, so Mr 3Dogs will be removing our engine and fitting this one on Thursday. Don't know how much it is going to cost but it will be the best price we could get anywhere, with our mate's contacts ;)

It's a shame that we had to spend £60 on those parts to then find the engine is finished, but it had to be tried, and it could have been much worse  He will be able to use the fuel, air and pollen filters on the new engine, but the oil filter is full of water/oil gunge  so will have to buy another one of those

Oh I forgot to say, I had gained 2 lbs which I was quite pleased at really considering it is 3 weeks since I got weighed and I spent that time eating lots of chocolate, ice cream, and anything else I could get my hands on :o:o

Well done Mr 3Dogs on your first ebay sales! I cannot sell my books on ebay, people just don't buy them. Maybe I need to do a bit more research before posting.

Shame about the 2lbs, but well done on it only being 2lbs.

And pah! to the blooming engine! I hope it doesn't cost too much and here's to lots more ebay sales to help pay for it.

It's ok i think. I deleted a nice person from my facebook as they have friends that are a bit aggressive. I only know nice people and that's the way it is going to stay. Life is too short to waste time on facebook meanies.

Susan that sounds ever so worrying. I hope it is sorted soon.

    Aesop how is LB?

How is this for MSE? Tomorrow a lady is going to visit my house and cut my hair (same style just shorter) for £11. Is that MSE? Probably not but i reckon it is a beat cheaper than usual as it costs a bit to visit my hairdresser.

Hi All 3dogs,SW, beanie,dragon,aesop:j..& all lurkers

Such a shame about the engine 3Dogs but maybe the old one can be sold for scrap/parts on ebay...waste not want not (I know you will have that in hand already LOL)

Well done on the books. About half of my sales are always books but I am selective about what I put on. Anything to do with weightwatchers, walking, music & local history seem to go very well.

Used my Paypal `Access` Card for the first time today...brilliant! Plus as my paypal emails all feed through to my blackberry so as soon as I`ve used it I get an email from paypal to confirm the spend...that will be so useful for keeping track of my balance. LOL after all my money troubles I still forget my balances:o:o:o

Can`t believe its nearly 10.30pm...seems on 5 minutes since I got home from work! need a holiday desperately now...
