water pressure dropped.

hi folks, just a quick query to see if there is anything i can do tonight before calling the landlord for a qualified fixer.

today i finally got round to fixing the kitchen tap that's been dripping away for nearly a year (yeah i know all that money/water wasted), because its a quarter-turn tap (w/e they are) i bought the whole internal assembly from B&Q.

Fitting it was a breeze, i turned off the water at the mains into the house, took apart the tap (cold) in the normal manner, then fitted the new one, turned water back on and checked to see if it was A)flowing, and B)not splashing up at the ceiling where i'd !!!!!!ed something up.

everything seemed fine, untill i went to run a bath for my toddler, the whole houses water pressure (cold and hot from combi boiler) has dropped by about half, to the extent that a shower is no longer a option.

is there a small lever type tap or valve somewhere you can open to raise the pressure? Should be a pipe on the wall near your boiler

As above, turning off the water has caused the boiler to lose pressure, this is no problem, as there should be a valve lever on one of the boiler pipes to put pressure back to normal levels. (there is normally a dial indicator on a boiler for pressure).
