Balance Transfer for those on benefits

in Credit cards
Can anybody help me?
I'm currently on benefits and am paying £25 pounds a month on my credit card. This barely covers the interest. I've spent the last 3 weeks getting everything up to date on my credit report but have been declined for a credit card as I have no job.
Does anyone know of a credit card with 0% on balance tranfers so that I can actually start paying off my debt?
Many thanks

you said you got declined for credit as you have no job... so how can you get another credit card with a 0% balance transfer if you have no job??
are you able to find work that you could pay it off? obviously you just state you are on benefits but you don't declare what your circumstances are..0 -
I think you will struggle to to be honest.
If you werent on benefits it would be a different matter altogether.
You will just have to struggle along I'm afraid.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -
If i was able to work i would be. I am on longterm sickness benefit and the credit card I have is one that I took out whilst I was working and since becoming ill I am only paying off the interest with my benefits.0

Unfortunately I do not think any card company offering 0% is likely to accept you given your current circumstances.
0% deals now are usually reserved for those people with excellent credit and a good salary0 -

I assume then that you haven't took insurance on the card either or else you would have done that - the best you can maybe do is approach the company with a letter explaining change of circumstances and that you wish to pay the balance and ask them if they are willing to cancel the card, freeze the interest and agree an affordable repayment to the card.
Good luck and I hope you get better soon.0
