Some companies won't touch people with defaults settled or not, others maybe less lenient.

Wow, banks are not there to help people anymore that was the 1950's, its 2011 now, banks are there to make money only by fouler means rather than fair, and your bank manager does not want to ever meet you unless you will a rollover lottery of several million, THEN they will want to meet you and approve a overdraft but only if you give them your millions of pounds.

If i won a lottery jackpot i guarantee my bank would be the first to congratulate me and show me their meagre interest rates for a million pound locked deposit over 25 years.
    Owed out = lots.
