What to do with my old TV??

I have recently purchased a 37" flat screen LCD TV which I am very happy with. But I am now left with my huge 32" Old TV which I really have no idea what to with it.

Can anyone tell me if there are companies out there looking to buy these old TVs to recycle etc, just like they do with old mobile phones?

    I don't know about recycling companies for tv's, but I wonder if a local school, hospital or nursing home could use it? Or a youth club, church, or finally a furniture/electricals charity shop?

    If you’re stuck with it & can’t find any one that wants it you could try ringing a local Hospital, Hospice, etc, to see if they would like it for a day room.
