Dual fuel or separate suppliers?

I have discovered that if I go to Atlantic energy for my gas and Npower for my electricity I will pay more for my gas and less for my electricity, compared to eon saveonline7, and be £38 per year better off.

Any disadvantages of not having dual fuel?

The main benefit of dual fuel is that the supplier usually offers you a discount for domestic energy, therefore it works out cheaper. As this is not the case for you then there are no real disadvantages to going with two providers..
