Tell him to go see a solicitor asap and go from there. I am sure there is something's he can do, Such as put money in accounts for ALL his children, sign over properties to his kids etc etc.

Unwise. As I said earlier, courts will trace assets, even those signed away, and if they conclude that the assets were deliberately transferred in order to affect the financial outcome of a divorce then they can take measures against the person who did it. Even transferring assets to immediate family is a mistake if one is aware that they about to enter into divorce proceedings.0
