Taking pills at night invention anyone?

I wonder if there is a product that tells you audibly if you've removed a tablet from the case.
I often find I've taken 2 tablets at night instead of 1.
No matter what I do, (the usual little cases with days on) I find
myself half-asleep convinced I've not taken my tablet, and take another.
Any ideas pls?

Do you mean you look in the relevant bit, find it empty and assume that you hadn't loaded the case correctly?Eat food. Not too much. Mostly plants - Michael Pollan

Yes that's it exactly.0

If you're taking your pills when you're in bed, maybe you could try leaving them downstairs and just take the one you need that night upstairs a little earlier in the evening and put it on your bedside table, then it will be the only one available to take0

Have an empty pot by the side of your bed.
Put a tablet in the pot in the evening.
Wake up during the night at the appropriate time and take your tablet.
Go to the bathroom and get your toothbrush. Put it in the pot.
If you wake up again, the presence of your toothbrush in the pot will prove that you've taken the tablet.
In the morning you will need to brush your teeth and so your toothbrush will make it back to the bathroom every day. This is the key to the plan - it resets itself every day.0 -

Get a sheet of paper with a table of the tablets and / or days.
When you have taken your tablets tick that tablet / day off.0 -
Liam, that's so much easier than messing around with toothbrushes! Nice one.0

Also most pharmacies will dispense your tablets (all of them) in special blister packs, so you know what to take when and can see whether you have or not. That's one blister pack with all your drugs in. In that case you'd have taken all the day's pills, then you'd take the last one up to bed with you. But it's someone else who's done the putting into separate pots bit, so you don't need to worry about whether or not you've done it.Signature removed for peace of mind0

Unfortunately where I live there is a long waiting list for this service. Pharmacies have limited capacity to provide this so usually only really needy cases I'm afraid!0
