Paying in to Classic Vantage

My husband has opened two CV accounts, the girl we saw told him that he only needed one debit card and cheque book, he has received one today for the account with most money in, the 2nd account he only opened with 1k intending to put more in shortly. If he isn't getting a debit card or cheque book with paying in slips in it, how can he pay money in assuming he will be taking cash or a cheque to the bank to pay in over the counter ?

Surely he should have had one for each account as I did with mine.

I just use one account (my Classic Plus account) for payments in and out and use my Vantage accounts as savings accounts, moving money online backwards and forwards as needed to gain the maximum interest.

To have more than one paying-in and cheque book for the same bank would just seem to complicate things unnecesarily.

If he's paying in over the counter, he should be able to use the generic paying-in slips available in branches, he just needs to know his Sort Code & Account Number(s).

If you have other accounts that support Faster Payments, electronic payments into the account(s) take a couple of mouse clicks and should arrive in a few seconds.

Thank you both for your replies. As he will have a number of options open to him that is good :-)

I think he can request the cheque book / debit card if he really does want them. I said I didn't want them on my 2nd & 3rd accounts, but they sent them anyway!
